About The Speaker

Ronald C. Morton, J.D., LL.M., CELA, is the founding attorney of Morton Law Firm, PLLC, and a leading authority on estate planning, elder law, asset protection, Medicaid planning, and special needs planning. As a Certified Elder Law Attorney and a Super Lawyers selectee from 2021 through 2025, Ronnie has spent over 30 years helping Mississippi families protect everything they own and everyone they love. He earned his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Mississippi College School of Law, and his Master of Laws in Taxation (LL.M.) from the University of Alabama School of Law.

Throughout his distinguished career, Ronnie has combined deep legal expertise with a passion for teaching and innovation. He serves as an adjunct professor at Mississippi College School of Law, frequently lectures on elder law and trusts, and has co-authored several respected legal publications. Within the Mississippi Bar, he’s chaired the Technology Committee, served on the Ethics Committee, and received the Bar’s Distinguished Service Award. Known for embracing technology to better serve clients, he often trains other attorneys on using advanced tools to streamline legal processes.

Outside the office, Ronnie is active in his community and church. He serves on the boards of Baptist Homes, Inc. and the Clinton Community Development Foundation, and enjoys time with his wife, Cynthia, and their twin boys. Whether helping clients avoid probate, protect assets from nursing home costs, or craft tailored estate plans, Ronnie is dedicated to providing peace of mind and personalized solutions to every family he serves.
